The TakeAway & Recycle Open

Every year the crew runs a charity golf tournament in honour of Cale Gordon Cook, raising money for the NICU at Kingston General Hospital through the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation. Winners get their names on the cup. The NICU gets the cheque.

Started with one truck

Brock Cook started TakeAway & Recycle in 2020 with one truck and a plan to build a waste and junk removal service Kingston could count on. It has grown into a route covering 200+ homes and businesses a week.

The crew has grown too, but the job has not changed: show up when we said we would, do the lifting, sort out what can be recycled or donated, and sweep the floor before we leave. If you have seen the yard signs or a black trailer with a phone number on the side, that is us.

Questions we get a lot

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Call or text (613) 572-1009, tell Brock what needs to go, and you get a number before anything is booked. Bin sizes and job scope vary too much for a fixed price list, so every quote is priced to the actual job.

How fast can you come?

Most pickups happen same-day or next-day. We are open 24 hours, so last-minute Airbnb turnovers, move-out deadlines and storm cleanup calls are the norm, not the exception.

What can you take away?

Furniture, appliances, renovation debris, garage and estate cleanouts, yard waste, household junk, and recurring commercial waste or recycling. What can be donated or recycled gets sorted out before anything goes to the landfill.

Do you rent bins?

Yes, 18-yard bins for cleanouts, renovations and roofing projects. We drop it off, you fill it on your schedule, we haul it away.

What areas do you service?

Kingston and the surrounding area, including Napanee and Frontenac County. We service 200+ homes and businesses weekly, from downtown storefronts to rural properties outside the city.

Send a photo. Get a price. Book the truck.

Call, text or email, whichever is easiest. Most quotes take a few minutes, and nothing is booked until you have a number.

Or send the details and skip the call
